Under the name “Travels in digital security” I run an irregular newsletter on cybersecurity with a particular focus on at-risk groups and people.
Music blog
Late in 2025 I picked up an old hobby and started writing about music again, this time in the form of a blog where I write about songs I like in 100 words or less.
Consulting
I am a consultant on digital security, advising organizations, companies and individuals on a broad range of security-related topics, from helping to set up a security program to advising on product improvements.
Silent Push
In 2021 and 2022 and again since 2024, I having been working as a Senior Threat Analyst for for Silent Push, a startup working on proactive threat intelligence.
Internews
From 2022 until 2025, I worked as a Technologist on several projects at Internews. I worked on several projects on digital threats together with partners in the Global South.
Incident Response Field Guide
As part of my work for Internews, I wrote a Field Guide to incident response for civil society and media.
Cybersecurity Assessment Tool
I have been was part of a team at the Ford Foundation that developed this tool, that should help NGOs assess their digital security. In 2025, the project was handed to The Engine Room.
Coalition Against Stalkerware
I am a Special Advisor to this global coalition of security companies and non-profits that fights stalkerware: spy apps used in many abusive relationships.
Civilsphere Project
I was a fellow to the Civilsphere Project, which provides free solutions to NGOs, journalists and people at risk and which is linked to the Stratosphere IPS lab at the Czech Technical University in Prague.
